Wind mitigation techniques used for site-built, single-family residential structures will be outlined, for example, recommended techniques for installation of gable-end bracing, secondary water barriers for roofs and their standards, recommended techniques for improving roof-to-wall connections, strengthening or correcting roof-decking attachments, and fasteners during re-roofing, etc. 

This module meets the Florida CILB 1 hr Wind Mitigation Methodologies for General, Building, Residential, Specialty Structure, Roofing, Glass & Glazing license holders.
